Spring 2011

Hello East River Organic Enthusiasts!

On Tuesday I seeded onions here at the farm, so spring should be coming soon! Today I will plant scallions and leeks.

Yesterday was spent cleaning out the barn. The cows are happy to have fresh bedding, and it is always nice to see the barn full of fresh yellow straw!

Renovations to the oldest chicken barn are finally finished. It will be the new home for our baby chicks, due to arrive the end of March.

Looking forward to seeing baby chicks, new calves and little seedlings!
