Apiaceae Daucus carota

Availability:  July - September

Storage:  Store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator for several weeks.  Store longer by keeping your carrots in damp sand or sawdust at temperatures between 32 to 40 F.  Don't forget to take the tops off before storing!
