Storage: Like
sweet corn, the sugar in peas converts to starch as soon as they're picked.
So eat them within 2-3 days and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Shelled peas also freeze well.
COOKING IDEAS AND RECIPES:
Alaska
A super-early heirlom from the 1880s. Great for canning and freezing.
